ANNOUNCEMENT:  Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for full-time administrative position of Nursing and Health Sciences Success Coach. 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, the Nursing and Health Sciences Success Coach facilitates nursing students learning within the Nursing programs at Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC).  This is accomplished by one-on-one time, group setting, and review of classroom material.  This position interacts with students, staff, faculty, administration and the general public at-large.  It also involves information of a confidential nature.  This is a full-time, grant-funded, twelve-month administrative position, contingent upon external funding.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Associates Degree in Nursing required.
2. Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois required. 
3. Two years of nursing or health sciences experience required.  Expereince in Higher Education preferred. 
4. Experience with student information systems to include PeopleSoft and Brightspace applications is preferred. 
5. Experience with Microsoft Word, Access and Excel required. 
6. Previous experience with the terminology of the instructional division is strongly preferred.

SALARY: Salary Grade 2 on the Administrative Pay Scale, ranging from $44,691 - $55,841 per year.
