Information Systems Architect

Design, implement, and maintain our customer's application systems and IT infrastructure.  Work within an architectural framework for information system development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts.  Understand user and process requirements and ensure those requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables. Work closely with developers and engineers to develop road maps for applications, align development plans, and ensure effective integration among information systems.  Monitor technological advancements to ensure solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and client standards.  Understand the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the customer's environment and evaluate the impactof changes.  Analyze systems and make recommendations regarding performance, reliability, scalability, and security.

 Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• BA/BS
• Ability to obtain a US DoD SECRET clearance
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work individually as well as with cross-functional teams

Desired Knowledge, Skills,and Abilities:

• BA/BS in Information Technology
• Experience with Microsoft Visio
• Experience with Business Process Modeling Notation, System Modelling, flow charting, or other process mapping techniques
• Experence or exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks such as DoD Architecture Framework or Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework
