Description This is a Standing Register Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Positions are located within the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division.

You will serve in an Interdisciplinary position. Providing technical expertise and support to deliver engineering solutions.About the Position: Serves as a Project Manager for the Corps of Engineers assigned to a District (Buffalo, Chicago, Detroit, Huntington, Louisville, Nashville or Pittsburgh). Responsible for overall planning, execution, control and closure of high-dollar value, national priority, environmentally sensitive and/or urgent civil works projects.

Specialized Experience for GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes: Serve as a technical lead or project manager for one or more civil works, interagency, intragovernmental, or military construction projects. Assist in the planning and oversight of cost and schedule execution of the planning, design, and/or construction of a project in coordination with other functional elements. Assist in the evaluation of the status of project against established milestones and objectives to assure the attainment of goals and objectives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Specialized Experience for GS-13: One year of specialized experience which includes: Serve as a technical lead or project manager for one or more civil works, interagency, intragovernmental, or military construction projects. Assist in the planning and oversight of cost and schedule execution of the planning, design, and/or construction of project in coordination with other functional elements. Monitor project performance and report on the status of project against established milestones and objectives to assure the attainment of goals and objectives. Lead the development and implementation of Project Management Plans (PMP). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
