LINUX SYSTEMS ENGINEER – TS/SCI

Zachary Piper Solutions is searching for a Linux System Engineer in Fayetteville, NC to support USSOCOM client and aid in transitioning to a multi-cloud environment for an elite military force. The Linux System Engineer requires a TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities for the Linux Systems Engineer- TS/SCI include:

• Manage the operation and maintenance of server hardware and software.
• Maintain the standard configurations and performance modification of settings.
• Provide excellent service for our internal support, as well as customers.
• Deliver expertise to troubleshoot system related issues.
• Present direction in the development or modification of software programs and applications to enhance an OS.?

Qualifications for the Linux Systems Engineer- TS/SCI include:

• 5+ years of work experience working with Linux and windows.
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Active Directory administration (Group Policy Management, DNS, DHCP)
• Strong experience with server virtualization (VMWare VCP5.x or Microsoft Hyper-V)
• Bachelor’s degree or 6-8 years of experience
• Must possess a TS/SCI clearance as a systems engineer.

Compensation for the Linux Systems Engineer- TS/SCI includes:

• $110,000-130,000 of overall compensation including:
  • Health, vision, dental, 401k, and PTO
