About SKF:

SKF has been making the world spin since 1907!

SKF is an industry-leading manufacturer dedicated to a culture of belonging, where our people flourish in an equitable environment that promotes leadership development and career growth.

As an SKF team member, you’ll join 40,000 colleagues from more than 130 countries developing bearing technology and services that make rotation more reliable and sustainable. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. SKF aims to have net zero greenhouse gas emissions at all our production facilities by 2030.

SKF products keep vehicles rolling, power the machines that put food on your table, and even reach into the cosmos as part of the Mars rover mission. Founded in Sweden in 1907, today SKF is publicly traded on the Nasdaq Stockholm with annual sales in 2020 of approximately $10 billion.

Summary:

The Product Development and Engineering (PDE) NAM, part of Technologies development, plays a key role in establishing the SKF Vision “A world of reliable rotation”, by supporting the SKF Business Community in the management of Technical Product Information

SKF has been addressing climate issues for years. Now we have set ourselves new, ambitious goals. By 2030 all our production facilities all over the world will have net zero greenhouse gas emissions and by 2050 the aim is that we reach net zero through the full supply chain. Engineering plays an important part to make that happen.

From an engineering perspective, we work to identify the net zero enablers that will get us there.

How can we internalize sustainability into our R&D?

How to develop an understanding of where we are today, research current and planned efforts by other manufacturers, and develop recommendations for SKF to implement to help us to achieve our carbon emissions goals.

As a Global Graduate at SKF you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of industries, business functions and applications.
