The Trainer will provide on-site training at Government and contractor locations, tailored to the specific training requirement a group or user is requesting.
Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:
- Submit a training plan to the Government Functional Manager (HQ AMC/A3CS) for approval when a requirement for training is identified.
- Develop, maintain and/or update student and instructor training materials. This may include CBT, lesson plans and handouts, manuals, train-the-trainer material, textbooks, workbooks, manuals, evaluation forms and other documentation.
- Plan and conduct operator training, accomplishing the following tasks as appropriate.
- Analyze enhancements as identified in Release Specification Agreements (RSAs) for learning opportunities and determine the impact to training.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate training courses to support the following systems:
- Consolidated Air Mobility Planning System (CAMPS)
- Dynamic Mission Re-planning
- Global Decision Support System (GDSS)
- Aviation Operational Risk Management (AvORM)
- Exercise Management Console (EMC)
- Mobile Service Device (MSD)
- Develop, identify enhancements to, update, and maintain all course materials, including lesson plans, difference guides, user manuals, CBTs and other training documents.
- Assign version numbers to training media where appropriate.
- Provide training quality assurance.
- Course Exit Data Collection – after the completion of each course, the contractor shall:
- Solicit student and community feedback/assessment on training effectiveness.
- Obtain written course assessments for classroom training and CBTs.
- Maintain copies of all course assessments.
- Provide a monthly summary of the student course assessment. (CDRL B004)
- Maintain a lessons learned file to be used for training course improvement.
- Formal Reviews – Support the requested review activities.
- Support Curriculum Review Boards.
- Participate in Instructional System Design reviews as described in Air Force Manual (AFM) 36-2234 (Instructional System Development) and AMC supplements.
- Continuous Knowledge Update.
- Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
Experience:
- Three (3) years’ operations training experience, two (2) years of experience as a Unit Training Manager, or similar applicable experience.
- Three (3) years of experience using one or more of the following C2 systems is desired: CAMPS, DMR, GDSS, AvORM, EMC, MSD.
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
Other Required Skills & Abilities:
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Security Clearance:
- Secret security clearance required.
US Citizenship: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
