The incumbent operates sweepers, backhoes, loaders, bulldozers, grader, dump trucks, rollers, skid-steer loaders and tractor trailers as part of a crew performing maintenance. Performs flexible and rigid pavement preservation on streets, parking lots and airfield, removing damaged pavement, place and compact hot/cold mix asphalts, place and finish concrete, route/seal cracks.

Performs wintertime snow and ice removal by utilizing snow removal equipment, plowing and chemical distribution.

Performs minor emergency repairs as identified.

Performs debris removal, erosion control, floodgate, bridge, and culvert.

Performs maintenance, installation and repair of permanent and temporary.

Responsible for completing daily work/labor order log documenting inspections, maintenance and repair information - to include work performed, materials used, and hours worked on each assigned work.

Read/interpret simple plans, diagrams, and specifications, both verbal and written instructions, may include interpreting grade and slope.

Performs installation, repairs and maintain all chain link fencing.

Adheres to proper security practices, foreign object damage procedures, and airfield driving regulations, as applicable.

Interfaces with customers and be responsible for customer feedback, as with company vehicle policies.

Operates motor vehicles in accordance with company vehicle guidelines.

Complies with applicable federal, state, United States Air Force (USAF) directives.

Follows Occupational Safety & Health Administration {OSHA) environmental laws and regulations.

Follows information directives; Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies and procedures, and contract requirements.

Complies with health and safety rules and procedures; performs work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment.

At all times wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as determined by position and position and duties.

Valid state driver's license, acceptable driving record and proof of valid insurance.

Valid Class A CDL.

Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a construction or road maintenance environment and snow removal.

Maintain all necessary licenses/IDs/certifications.

Ability to solve problems and work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to adapt to changes in technology and applicable facility/infrastructure codes and standards.
