About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a senior Supervisory Traffic Management Specialist at SDDC, overseeing all phases of branch operations, resource allocation, mission execution, work planning, integration of functions, and strategic program management to ensure mission success.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Managing transportation programs to ensure effective resource allocation and operational readiness; (2) Overseeing program planning to align organizational goals with mission-critical objectives; (3) Ensuring compliance with regulations to maintain adherence to federal, industry, and organizational standards; (4) Supervising or leading teams to achieve performance objectives and foster professional development; and (5) Coordinating efforts to secure contractual arrangements and logistics operations that support mission success. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this position, at the GS-14 level, you must meet the Specialized experience requirement alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
