Description As a Supervisory Equal Opportunity Investigator at the GS-1860-15, the incumbent of this position serves as Deputy District Director and shares in the overall responsibility of the District. The incumbent is primarily responsible for the supervision and coordination, through subordinate supervisors of the enforcement functions of the District.For the GS-15: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position to be filled. Specialized experience may include experience enforcing federal employment discrimination laws as they pertain to private sector employers; developing and/or managing long-range plans, strategies, and goals of investigative and enforcement programs; and experience supervising and coordinating through subordinate supervisors of day to day operations.

Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-14 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS- 15 level.
