LINUX SYSTEMS ENGINEER – TS/SCI W/FS POLY

Zachary Piper Solutions is searching for a Linux System Engineer in Herndon, VA to support US public sector government customers and aid in transitioning to a multi-cloud environment. The Linux System Engineer requires a TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.

Responsibilities for the Linux Systems Engineer include:

• Build, employ, and secure computing environments for customers.
• Assist in the accreditation process of systems in accordance with the NISPOM and IC guidelines.
• Provide excellent service for our internal support, as well as customers.
• Deliver expertise on private, public, and hybrid AWS cloud models.

Qualifications for the Linux Systems Engineer include:

• 4+ years of work experience working with Linux and windows.
• Foundational experience with virtualization, networking, and security.
• Proficient in the development of security systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering.
• Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.

Compensation for the Linux Systems Engineer includes:

• $125,000-175,000 of overall compensation including:
  • Health, vision, dental, 401k, and PTO
