NETWORK ENGINEER (SECRET and TS/SCI)

Zachary Piper Solutions is searching for a Network Engineer in Fayetteville, NC to support a USSOCOM client and aid in transitioning to a multi-cloud environment for an elite military force. The Network Engineer requires a TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include:

• Support layers 2 and 3 of enterprise government networks.
• Display expertise with routing protocols/configurations including MPLS (must have), EIGRP, BGP and SD-WAN.
• Perform configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and support of Cisco networking devices, WAN/LAN optimization systems, and encryption devices.
• Conduct the administrative operation and maintenance of server hardware and software.

Qualifications for the Network Engineer include:

• 5+ years of work experience doing network engineering in a government setting.
• Strong expertise in Cisco technologies including route switch protocols and configurations.
• Experience with server virtualization (VMWare VCP5 or Microsoft Hyper-V).
• Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience and CCNA certification.
• Active Secret or TS/SCI

Compensation for the Network Engineer includes:

• $95,000 - 110,000 of overall compensation including:
  • Health, vision, dental, 401k, and PTO
