As we expand, we seek an energetic self-starter to fill a System Administrator position (Associate Network Analyst) to contribute to our ongoing success.

 

Position Overview: As a System Administrator (Associate Network Analyst), you will ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of our client's desktop and server environments. You will maintain, troubleshoot, document, and monitor desktop and server systems to meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, experience in Microsoft desktop and server technologies, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer support.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Desktop administration, including hardware (workstations, printers, and laptops) and desktop operating systems support (Windows 10 and 11).
  • Server Administration (Windows and Linux) - includes server installation, upgrades, and configuration; server roles, storage, Active Directory, domain configurations, and Group Policy; file, print, and web services; remote access, virtualization, application servers; troubleshooting, performance; and reliability.
  • Enterprise Storage Support: Daily administration, provisioning, and alert responses.
  • Enterprise Backup administration: job monitoring and resolutions to alerts.
  • Enterprise Security: administration, deployments, monitoring and responses.
  • VMware administration: system performance monitoring and alert responses.
  • Network Administration: Responsible for installing, monitoring, troubleshooting, integrating, and upgrading network infrastructure, including hardware and software components. Monitor and troubleshoot network activity.
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as enterprise patch management, software updates, and system backups.
  • Troubleshoot server hardware and software issues and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure compliance and participation with security policies and procedures, including user access controls, data encryption, Multifactor Authentication, Security Incident Response, and vulnerability management.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients regarding desktop and server-related issues.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge-sharing and reference purposes.

 

Qualifications:

  • An associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and two (2) years related experience and training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience as an Administrator of desktop, server, networking, or similar.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems, including Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other Microsoft server technologies.
  • Experience with server hardware, virtualization technologies, and storage systems.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, A+, Network+, or CompTIA Server+ are a plus.
