Position Summary

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you'll work under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based treatment and support patient recovery across diverse populations.

Qualifications

  • Licensed or license-eligible in Illinois (Physical Therapy Practice Act)
  • CPR certification
  • APTA membership preferred
  • Experience treating various age groups (neonates to geriatrics) preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must pass background check and drug screen

Key Responsibilities

  • Review patient information and implement the plan of care
  • Deliver effective, evidence-based treatment
  • Document and report on patient progress
  • Monitor treatment outcomes and communicate results
  • Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Work collaboratively with your team and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
