About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Special Requirements Branch of the Domestic Movement Operations Division, Operations directorate, Military Surface Distribution and Deployment Command.

This is a TERM appointment not to exceed 2 years with option to convert to permanent.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: (1) Coordinating and/organizing the movement of personnel, equipment, and supplies within complex logistical frameworks; (2) Developing comprehensive logistics plans to ensure mission readiness; and (3) Providing technical assistance on logistical and/or transportation matters. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
